Back to the 50's

This post has been inspired by the Challenge #1 of the Simblr's Next Top Model, I didn't partake the challenge but I really liked the theme and I decided to give it a shot.
I remember watching black and white movies with my mom and being absolutely charmed by the ladies' feminine and graceful looks, I still am. They are exceedingly eye catching, lovely, and full of grace. I hope I'm doing them justice in my lookbook.

List of items used:

Used on both sims:

 Skin-blend:

I just realized that I use this skin-blend a lot, it's nice and soft, it's Madmono's lovely Shattered Skinblend.

Eyes:

They both have my own Oceanic Eyes which I use as my default eyes.

Lipstick:

They also are wearing the "Masochist" and "Redrum" Lipsticks from my Jeffree Star's Velour Liquid Lipstick Collection.

Riley the "Blond Sim":

Moles:

The moles used on Riley (which can't be perceptible, I know) are from Ms Blue's fine Moles V1 set. You should definitely check them out, you won't regret it.

Hair:

I just love this elegant pulled up hair made by the very talented Kiara Zurk. You can take a closer look and, why not, download it here

Eyeliner:

If you have seen my other lookbooks you'd know by now that my favorite eyeliner is the delicate and subtle one created by Alf-Si. I totally recommend it, so go grab it here.

Blush:

To make Riley look adorable and feminine I used the sweet WeepingSimmer's cute and lovely Cinder Blush.

Hat:

Man! This hat is just stunning, I mean look at it! It's feminine, graceful, and beautiful. I genuinely adore it. It was made by ColoresUrbanos (who is the best Retro Custom Content maker, seriously if you're not already following her, you should go check her stuff out) and it can be found here.

Earrings:

I got the earrings Riley is wearing as a private gift on Simblreen 2017 from RenoraSims, but now it's available for everyone, so you can download them here.

Dress:

This vintage pin-up dress makes any lady sim look fierce and fabulous with a timeless look, it was made by ColoresUrbanos and can be downloaded here.

Shoes:

These gorgeous retro vintage Rockabilly shoes were made by ColoresUrbanos, and you can get them here.

Mae the "Brunette Sim":

Eyebrows:

These beautiful arched eyebrows are Pralinesims' Lou Eyebrows. This girl is very talented, honestly, she makes some high quality eyebrows and this one is just a tiny sample. If you like it download it here. If you don't, I recommend you visit her page on TheSimsResource or her blog on Tumblr to see her other creations. But I'm guessing you already follow her.

Dimples:

Well, well, well! These mini dimples too were made by Pralinesims. This piece of custom content is a necessity in my game because I have dimples in real life, and I think they are the cutest deformity ever. Download Pralinesims' great set of dimples here.

Hair:

I had so much trouble finding a Maxis-matched 50s hairstyles, but I found this one and I'm very grateful to Birksche for making it. It is a bit too shiny for my liking, but over all it's great. Get it from here.

Eyeshadow:

This is a beautiful neutral eyeshadow, it was made by CrazyCupcake, and can be downloaded here.

Eyeliner:

This is a simple yet sophisticated eyeliner by ComfySim. I love its name "Luscious Liner." You can go grab it here.

Blush:

S-Club made this sweet lovely blush, which you can download here.

Neckerchief:

I'm so glad Colores Urbanos made this neckerchief that you can find here.

Dress:

Yes as you can guess it this dress was made by Colores Urbanos too. Like I said she is the best at making the 50s clothing. This is a recolor of her own mesh. Download the recolor here and the mesh here.

Shoes:

The shoes Mae is wearing are Madlen's Nursia Shoes. You can download them here.

Poses:

The poses used in both images are from FlowerChamber's Happy Moments set, and can be found here.

I hope you guys liked this post, I certainly loved the CCs I used.
